| Ohhhh, I really like that TMM! Maybe you could try it on something small like a potholder and see how well it does on corners? Let us know. |

| I would think you are right TXMM and memaw....the corners would be problematic. I think I will stick with preprinted stripped fabric. I've made two fo those and just love the bias stripe. | |

| Since the seams are everywhere, I suspect that it won't appear any more lumpy than a usual binding. If you are worries about a corner, put a single, probably 3" strip in each corner. That would be more work, but might be worth the effort in the long run. | |

| I have made it but with very long pieces not the little bitty piecing like this one . I wouldn't bother doing it like this as CC said ...striped fabric is the way to go if you want this look . |

| It looks lovely but I dont think I could be bothered with all the work involved to create the look. Im with the others stripey fabric works just as well LOL. I have made binding from scraps of fabric used in the quilt top, but sewn in longer lengths, not itty bitty like this _________________ "My will is mine.....I shall not make it soft for you" Aeschylus, Agamemnon

| I haven't done it with such narrow pieces. I've done ones that are 10 inches or so. You just have to be careful that a seam doesn't get in the corner. It really looks great. | |

| I agree about striped fabric or longer pieces. This looks to me like someone showing off for no particularly good reason. | |
