| What can we salvage from Quilters Sanctuary? I'm wondering if we can get our links section? That was a weath of information.
Also wonder about cost for running this site, I don't think anyone expects one person to pick up the tab for this site.
Storage amounts, should we stay away from posting pictures? Thanks for reorganizing us! Chris

| It is called housekeeping. When I clean my sewing room I have a saying, "When in doubt throw it out." So throw all our stuff out and start fresh. We had lots of stuff on old forum that was really old, so now we are young again. Don't I wish, imagine if it was this easy to be young again. jessie s | |

| Schnookie, my Aunt lived in an old farm house and she had an old mirror in the hallway. It had a sort of grey finish on the mirror part. When I was young used to ask her why she kept the old mirror. Her answer was that she couldn't see her grey hair or the wrinkles in it. Didn't understand then, but now I do. Wish I had that old mirror for my hallway. jessie s | |

| The forum itself is free, as is a certain size of gallery. Bob and I purchased some 'credits' last night and expanded the gallery size (we know how important our pics are) we put a few of the credits towards look and layout (we can tizz the site up, get better colours etc and will do so as soon as our heads stop reeling and we have the basics all working right) If we are using lots of our gallery space up in the future then we simply buy more credits and increase it
Unless he turns quilters sanctuary back on we wont be able to retrieve anything sorry, we can rebuild as long as we are together though, thats what matters most of all

| It seems he dumped us on our cyberkester. We'll pick each other up, dust us off, and rebuild. Bless whoever had the foresight to save our addys. | |

| Gimpy..Campbell had a Paypal account set up so we could contribute $ for the site. If you and Bob are purchasing extra space for us..maybe you could set up an account so we can share in the cost? It shouldn't be coming out of your pockets. If I may ask..what was Campbell's issue? Would it help if one..or all of us emailed him and asked to have the site put back up? I looked and the only addy I had for him was through the QS site. The mail wouldn't deliver. |

| I really like this site. It is easy to get around. It is clean and uncluttered. My friends are here. It is good. I haven't learned to post pics yet but that is a 'me' thing not a 'site' thing. It took me months put up pic on QS...hmmmm maybe I shouldn't post pics---look what happened when I did! Gee, I didn't think my work was that bad Helen and Bob, let us know about costs. We can each purchase some credits to help with pics and all. Ya'll have tried so hard to help us find a home. It is not right for ya'll to be out money for our mutual enjoyment. I will just chock it up to 'continuing education expenses" because I learn so much here. Ya'll are the best. PS- Finisher and posted at the same time and my post did not get thrown out! That's great cause it always got lost on QS. Finisher, I don't know if I want to email him. Frankly what he did wasn't very nice. If a person made him mad--take it up with that person--don't punish us all. I would not feel secure if we went back. Wondering every morning if QS would be there when I turned on the computer. Going back never gets us ahead so I think we should keep heading forward. _________________ TxMaryQuilts

| I don't want Campbell to put the site back up because I want to be a part of something he can hold hostage. I just thought maybe we could retrieve info that's there?
Mary..you posting pics of your beautiful work didn't harm the site. Ya big nut! I was so proud of you for posting. I know you were nervous about it. I was too at first. Figures..about the time you figure something out..it changes?I haven't even tried to post pics here yet. I'll have to work up my nerve to try it. |

Quilt hostages! Oh no! How low can a person stoop! Oh the inhumanity! --Brought to you by your friendly neighborhood Drama -- LOL Sorry but I couldn't resist. I wanted to play with the smilies. Yeah we did lose some info didn't we? But we will slowly get it back I guess. If someone had an easy way to put my favorites folder on here they would have every link ever posted and then some :flower: :joker: :study: :farao: :cherry:  :bom: :bounce: I like smilies...... _________________ TxMaryQuilts
