Thought I had my baby quilt finished and ready to deliver tonight. Well...not anymore. I made the label yesterday and sewed it on last night then washed the quilt as I usually do. And.....the blue pigma pen "ran" :tickedoff:. So that means a new label. ISH!!!!!

OMG - I just sewed a blue pigma pen label on my latest baby quilt last nite BUT haven't washed it yet. Did you heat set the ink Paws? Any other advice before I wash it ladies?

Yep! I did everything same as I do with the black pens. I have never had any trouble with the black ones.
Don't you hate it when things like that happen :1087:?

Oh I hope it didnt bleed onto the fabric, oh no

Id be so upset, I only ever use the Zig brand ones and I only have a pink, red, green or brown, I do nearly everything in brown - they ahve never run on me. Good luck

What a shame Paws! Just when you think you're done.. :tickedoff:
The pen I used on the front of my chicken quilt said to heat set it AND wait 24 hours before washing. Maybe the ink they're using in the blue is similar? You'd think they'd tell you something as important as that!

I washed my baby quilt this morning after heat setting the blue pigma & waiting 24 hrs. It did not bleed. :yahoo: My pen was a PIGMA MICRON by Sakura Color Products. Ordered from Fabric Depot.com
