| Starting March 19 Connecting Threads will be having a mystery quilt ~ quilt along. I got this via e-mail. Thought you might be interested. You'll need to go to their site for more details.

| Thank you Mary. I tried my best to do what you've done, but couldn't. I even e-mailed Gimpy to just take this thread off because I'd messed it up so bad. I have no clue how 2 downloaded on here. I only wanted the one! I tried to get one off but no such luck...... I may or may not do it either. |

| Checked out Part one. LOTS of little squares. Not much hint of what is to be. Need more clues! If I do this I will use one of the many bundles in the top of the closet. Not sure which one yet. Pinks and blacks maybe? _________________ TxMaryQuilts

| I had NO clue you had to be a member! I signed up last night but haven't heard back as of yet if I've been accepted. Wonder how long that takes? I did look at all the different groups they had. Interesting..... |

| You'll probably hear today. Being a member is no big deal. It is free and you don't have to join in everything. _________________ TxMaryQuilts

| I have been a member for a while and actually started a group for mini quilts but it has not been very active lately, well for a year I guess cause I haven't made to many mini quilts lately to talk about.
I am going to select my fabrics and start cutting today after some shut eye, I am off this weekend and want to work it. I have a feeling that I will finish this and want to make it as a queen. They give a great variety of examples for fabrics to select which helps...
Have patience Memaw you will be accepted in not time. I have to say the year I joined I was lucky I had posted my Aunt Millies quilt and it was voted best picture so I won the Golden Seam ripper award and some other goodies they sent me. Just the thought of people liking the picture was a great compliment in itself. The community is friendly, but they are allowed to talk about anything, I mean anything! I have seen some very interesting topics there..LOL
oh dear I am just chatty cathy right now, excited about a new project gets all the engines running..LOL | |

| That would be nice with a deer print. I can picture that. I am leaning toward a Texas theme. I thought all those stars would look nice in a western motif. But then there's the big roses and the ......ha ha, guess I haven't decided yet. _________________ TxMaryQuilts

| True. True. But then there are so many different ways to go. That's always the problem isn't it? _________________ TxMaryQuilts

| Well, its such a beautiful quilt you could go with so many different prints and themes. I love florals so I'd have no problem going that way either. |
