| while I was in Joann's looking around I saw some new batiks they got in. They were much nicer than the ones they usually carry..and a bit more expensive too..but I had my trusty old coupon burning a hole in my pocket so I got a piece. I took the bolt over to the calico wall and held it up against some fabrics I knew I had at home..and it looked pretty good with them! [img] [/img] |

| tracy...I checked the Joann's here today. Actually, the JA in the 'big city'! I don't go very often, cause gas is killing us! But finally had too big a list, so went. They didn't have your fabric...sorry.
Annieoakleaf...very nice colors there!! Right up my alley! | |

| Okay, all, thank you so much for checking for the fabric. I'm going to give up. I won't lose much sleep over it, so don't fret.
So, my crisis is over. Who needs help next? :bounce: _________________ Perfection is the enemy of progress

| A couple of the sites I found when I Googled were talking about working with the strips. They say to get fluffier chenille, stack the strips one on top of the other and stitch down...then fluff. That would cost more so I don't know if the effect is worth it or not? |
