| Mamu.. are you in the chicken swap too...?? don't forget those..LOL
I just love the feathered star design and this quilt is just gorgeous.. i love Anne's idea of the different colors to use..I again would go more with the rustic prim colors.. but the cool blues are awesome as well... Mamu I don't think I saw what colours you were using?
1/2" in the center.. you really have to be accurate from the start or you would be in big trouble continuing to the next.. yes this would be very challenging indeed.. hmmm.. do I need another challenge?? lol |

| Betweens..... yes I am in the chicken swap, very frustrated with how the organizers are handling that though and..... I am in the Halloween PC and Fall PC .... PLUS the Christmas fab sq swap!!! am I nuts lots of stuff to get after this weekend!! I will post a pic of the begining of my feathered star in my gallery so you can see the different colors that I chose. The dark/main fab is a dragon fly print, cream texture batik for the center, celery green for one feathered row and then the background blocks in the corners and sides is a rusty batik....all colors coordinate with the dragon fly print. | |

| Okay, here is the begining of my feathered star. This was all I got done while I was at Jackie's 3 day retreat this June. The next row of stars will be the drk dragon fly print. I am still working on it. The other blocks I am holding up are of the mystery class. I was making a queen size so I didn't get the top done at retreat....it is done now though! | |

| That sounds really neat! I love quilts that have the look of fabrics marching across the quilt...like Irish chain..etc. |

| Mamu, I love that feathered star quilt. Just simply gorgeous. Makes me want to start one right now! I think I'll go look up a pattern! I'm going to do mine in lavenders and creams. Maybe I'll just do one large block for now to see how well it turns out. I can always use it as a table topper.........right?
