| I have noticed that sewers aide seems to have bled into the background fabric on a project of mine, I noticed it when Id pressed the darn piece. Does anyone have any thought or ideas on how to remove it, what to wash it with? Im afraid the heat of the iron may have set it, does anyone have any advice to offer? | Hmmm supposedly it is stain free. Guess that's not right is it? I tried looking it up and OMG! be carful with Googling that! Apparently silicon lubricants have a whole different use Anyway, I read anything from denatured alcohol, a citrus based cleaner, plain soap and water, to a product called goo-gone. Mostly I read that it probably won't come out. So sorry Helen. _________________ TxMaryQuilts

| If you can get a dish washing soap that has a degreaser agent in it, that should help get any residue out. I use sewers aid (which is basically Mineral oil) on some of my threads that I Long arm with and have never had any issues with it bleeding or staining any quilts. | |

| My bottle of sewer's aid says it's silicone. A lot of people mentioned Dawn dish washing liquid. It's worth a try. _________________ TxMaryQuilts
