It has  become apparent  I need to upgrade my machine.  I like my Husqvarna  Viking Emerald.  But it just needs to be a bit heavier.  I dislike computerized  machines and know what a dinosaur  I am, so am looking for something  heavier duty than I have with as few computerized  functions as possible.  Does any have a Viking  Jade-20? Care to share insight with me?

I don't know anything about theJjade but I do know the Mega Quilter is a solid machine with minimal computerization.

I don't know the machines you mention. When I bought my basic Janome, the store owner took apart a Janome and a Viking to show DH that the Janome was more heavily built. My suggestion would be to try out a variety of machines before you settle on one that is sure to me your partner in crime for some time.
