Okay it’s me!

hello ole friends! The tragedies of Australia and hearing all that has happened had me reach out to Gimpy Cat our fearless leader to make sure she was not affected she is by the no rain but no fire thank goodness.
I am not sure why I stopped posting it was nothing to do with the forum I think it was just my own life dramas then time went by and I forgot what the group name was called but Gimpy Cat has welcomed me and it looks like there is major catch up.

I can’t believe where the time has gone I had been on Facebook see Golo on there and Anita Laura on there I had not been too much into quilting dabs here and there doing a self retreat binge now and then when you get that fabric that inspires you. My resolution this year is to not buy fabric except in August when a special friend sets up in an old farm house.

Well this is long and I am twirling with delight that I have been able to come to the isle of quilters please bear with me as I try to find my footings again

Oh btw I had just pulled out the blocks we did as a sew along to put together in a top anyone else get theirs done?

Glad to have you back! Didn't you write your own pattern for a BOM I embroidered? The patterns were very easy. I should do something with them!

Anita I think your embroideries were from Quilton, when she had her forum for a short time.

Deb it is good to hear from. Life gets in the way for all of us sometimes. I hope you enjoy catching up and visit with us more. Share with us what has been happening with you and I hope you get a little quilting mojo back.

Oh my goodness what a reception, due to creeping age time flies alot faster too! for goodness sakes it has been 3 weeks already...

The BOM is with the quilt show the quilt is called afternoon delight by Sue garman I am not sure if you all know she had passed last year so this is a great way to celebrate her life. She is one of my favorite designers.

I am sorry to say I am not a designer of any patterns, I may fudge patterns that already exist but that is about it.
I love the new avatars. that everyone is sharing, mine is the one and only Teddy bear he is a chihuahua (long haired) I call him my husbands therapy dog because he keeps him company while I am at work lets him know when it is time to go for a walk and husband has someone that bosses him around when I am not there to do it. We rescued him from a chihuahua rescue he was 8 we have had him for 3 years. I love to make him prance when I talk happy to him he just dances and prances on all 4fours and he has full trust in me.

I will have to learn how to post pictures again to show you what I am working on. I am very excited also about a mini that I pieced, the pieces are 1/4in finished and I just love it. It is for a doll quilt swap that I am in it is going to the netherlands.

Well I better go thanks again for the warm welcomes its like being home again. I have missed you friends and know it has been way too long I am scrolling through and seeing that everyone is so busy and there are some new members too we have grown!!

I cant wait to see any pictures you have to share. I love your little Teddy bear, he is adorable and such a pretty colouring on that silky coat. He sure is lucky to have you as his mama.  Thats an intricate quilt you are working on, it will be superb for sure. So glad you are back with us
