| I love it. It's easy to read, simple, clean and neat. That's my kind of stuff. Too much clutter just confuses me. | |

| Gee..can I vote more than once? I didn't see the portal until I searched for it. Must be the way I enter the site? It looks pretty good! I guess I can cross that one off the list? Meh? no definately NOT Meh! cross that one off. Hmm..the one telling you to go work in the garden or take some pics.. well..that one has some merit to it? I mean..the computer stuff is done right? Oh heck! I'm voting for you're a clever boy Bobo. After all..you DID do a nice job. Well done! Now about that garden... :spring1:

| The portal is very, very cool, Bob! It's clean, and it's appealing. If I were a newcomer, I would see that this is a welcoming place. Who wrote the intro? Has that been somewhere all along? I'm surprised at the word cloud. I'm apparently hanging out in different threads (heh - a quilter in threads - heheh) :flower: Also love the photo slide show - now many of us will be running back to change the names on the photos to be something more identifiable! Great job - and thank you for all you do!! _________________ Perfection is the enemy of progress

| I voted with some slight missgiving. I do indeed like the new portal, and I do indeed think you're clever! But - I'm not too sure about "Bobo". Is it like Bob-oh? Which is probably okay. Or does it rhyme with "ToeToe"? which just doesn't sound like something I'd call you... and sounds dangerously close to Bozo the clown which I know I'd never call you!! Anyhow - back to the portal. It's great! And I once again thank you for all you do to keep us together here, Bob the Clever. | |

| It is nice...I like how the pictures rotate thru at the top. But...maybe I'm confused...
shouldn't the 'portal' page be the home page now? And the home page be called 'forums' page...or something??
I had to search for portal page too... | |

| Its nice...I must admit that since I enter on the home page I have no clue what the old one looked like. I do have one question though. Can non members view profiles? And if so I'm not so sure the portal is the place for a Profile link. Other than that I like it alot. | |

| Oh I see how it is, while I sit and work on designs someone is taking all the credit for this, thats what you get when a man doesnt have enough chores I think. Just yesterday Laura announced that 'boys dont like to do housework' Tracey I wrote the intro and no it hasnt been hiding, just hadnt been put on yet, I have been meaning to get a proper 'home page' done for a while now and we worked on it together. Annie Oak Leaf you will find that the 'favourite' link you use to come here will bring you to the main forum every time unless you update the link, as in open the portal page and then save it in your favourites folder as the new link to the site - does that make any sense Karol its a case of being able to change the wording on the tabs, I will try and look into that today and how to change them to suit. Calico_Chris, the forum is set so that member information can only be accessed by registered members Mamu the keywords box will update itself, its a little program that has sought out the most popular words on here and collated them, its cool that each word is a clickable link though - did anyone click on one of the 'keywords" if you do it brings a list of all topics with that word in their title! What other upgrades did you have in mind we could think on? Hope that answers some questions, if you think of anything else, let us know :D _________________ "My will is mine.....I shall not make it soft for you" Aeschylus, Agamemnon

| I like it too. Very clean, easy to read. Should make a good first impression on anyone who sees it. | My first reaction was "What Portal". However, I did find it and it is really cool. I like the rotating pictures and the words you can click on. | |
