Stumbled across these videos. Doesn't look hard. A bit fiddly maybe but if you worked on two or more sets at once you could chain sew and not waste so much thread. I haven't tried it yet but I've marked them.

Thats very interesting, it actually makes sense in a round about way, I dont think she is actually using any more thread than you would chain sewing as she is only doing the two seams either side of the centre line. Very funky, thanks for sharing (I like her little rulers at the end)

Thanks for sharing. That is a very interesting g method and look super easy.

I think my next purchase is going to be the rulers. I detest trimming HST's. That looks like a very worth while investment. Easy and not time consuming!

They are "Clearly Perfect Slotted Trimmers by New Leaf Stitches" . Amazon has them for $35. It's high but makes 11 different sizes and I do love what you can do with a HST. They are so versatile.

When I looked on Amazon it shows them as currently unavailable, on both Amazon US and AU. I found them in a couple of aussie quilt stores, $48 plus shipping. Think I will go without

I've been wanting to try out that method just for fun.

I'll have to go back and look at the ruler y'all are talking about, I don't remember it from when I first watched the videos.

I have Fons and Porter triangle trimmers that I bought at Jo-Ann's. It's an extra step, but worth it, IMO.* **

They are $32 on her website but would be $9 more shipping for me, so $41 That's a lot of money for a ruler.

Tracy when you have time to compare the 2 please let us know your take on each? Like I said I detest trimming g those buggers. So I avoid them altogether for the most part. But. . If I had an easy trim method would use up a lot of scraps with them.
