From FiberBabble about photo hosting sites:
Webshots, Flickr, Photobucket, ?Picasa?* are all free photo hosting sites (I'm sure there are more). Having an account at any of these will allow you to do So. Much. More. with your photos, whether you eventually start a blog, you want to print stuff for Christmas cards, you want to post photos here without taking up too much space on the Last Resort site, or if you want to make your pictures "Click To Big".
Once you've decided on a photo host (I'm partial to webshots and photobucket), wave from the audience and we'll walk you through what you need to know (and knowing me, even MORE) about sharing your photos.

http://www.webshots.com/ Webshots has easy-to-find categories; most quilting stuff I've found are in the "Home and Garden" category.
*
http://www.flickr.com/ Flickr requires a Yahoo! user id and confuses the soup outta me (though I do have an account because of Ravelry).

http://photobucket.com/ Photobucket is the one I use. It seems (to me) to be more To The Point, not as many bells and flashy things. Smile I also like that the code that I need is up-front so I can get to it easier.

http://www.picasa.com Picasa has all those question marks because I don't have much exposure to it. When I go to the website, the first thing is says is "Download Picasa 3.x". Strike one for me (download?? I think not). It's owned by Google. Blogger (where my blog is hosted) is also owned by Google, so I've found that if I upload pics directly to Blogger instead of linking to them in my Photobucket account, they go into a Picasa album. When I click on "my" Picasa album, I do indeed see some of my pictures -and all the text is in German!!! Uh. Strike two?
As they say, Your Mileage May Vary.
