| I guess its like the blocks, how do you choose? I love reds and greens but then I love the cheddars too. I love the civil war repro fabrics as I like the muted earthy tones but I think perhaps I love Indigo and white/cream antique quilts best - I think, hmmm, maybe I will have a different answer tommorow _________________ "My will is mine.....I shall not make it soft for you" Aeschylus, Agamemnon

| Right now I like the 30's type of prints. 'Feedsack' cloth type. I've been saving 30's to do something with...but afraid to cut them, cause I don't REALLY know what I want to do? What if I choose the wrong thing? Now, mind you, I probably have enough to make 5 quilts...but still...I'm afraid to cut them! | |

| Karol....I'll be happy to alleviate some of that fear...send some of that fabric my way  I don't think I could possiby pick a favorite. Its a real mood dependent thing for me. I own a 20's /30's quilt and I just love the fabrics but I do love earth tones...oh and then their's brights....not possible to decide! | |

| I love double pinks with indigos or browns and shirtings, love the green red and cream combo too. I like the cheddar as sparks of color here and there..I'm fond of the greyed down aqua too. |

| Doesn't matter what color. I think it is the slightly faded look and the softness that appeals to me. They look more loved than a brand new one. _________________ TxMaryQuilts

| I think I like the multicolor, scrappy, ones best. For a uniform antique quilt, blue and white. | |

| Its been awhile since I posted this (on the old forum) some of you may not have seen it. Annie Oakly looked up some of the fabrics in this for me and has dated it to late 20's to 1930 s. It was passed down from my MIL and was made in either Northern North Carolina-Southern Virginia. | |

| I drooled over the baby! Does that count! (NO, I'm NOT a PERFERT!) I love babies and am going tomorrow to see mine! Hubby and I are going to see Alec and Ella and will be back Monday. It feels like months since we seen those two. Ella just turned 1 and memaw and peepaw are very excited to go see her. Alec doesn't know peepaw is coming! He told my dd that he loved it when memaw came because "she lets me tell her all about my toys!" He'll go balastic when he sees his peepaw! I'll take pictures! memaw4 |
