Thanks for the link. I'm waiting the arrival of 12 tees plus 4 alternates from my DD. Sunday I bought the interfacing...but now I'm confused. LQS suggested a woven fusable which I did buy. Its really beautiful stuff....looks just like and feels like cotton fabric, it has a shiny side.
I was thinking about prewashing but will I wash off the fusable stuff?

Now I read this on quiltbug:
Since they are pretty stretchy, you will want to iron on some non woven fusible interfacing to stabilize them. Don't use a stretchy interfacing made for knits. Read the package - some interfacing needs to be pre-shrunk to avoid problems after fusing.

Cool Golo! Thanks for the link! I'm half way thru....have pieced one side and am about to piece the other side....I'm using tshirts without sashing on both sides.......wish I'd seen the note about stay stitching before I did the first side...lol. Oh well...so far it's been smooth sailing. The biggest challenge was figuring out how to get all the different shapes to meld together....The designs are all different sizes, so I didn't use even squares. I'll let you guys know! If I use batting...it will be a very light one. I may need it to keep the colored side showing thru the white side. One side is all white tshirts....all from what we call Region Band, Orchestra, and Choir....DS #1 was in all three...my music child...lol. (He's a chem engineering major, but is in the band at his university and is a paid soloist at the Episcopal cathedral adjacent to his college.) The other side is all colors. I plan to use a light weight denim for the border.....can't decide on the small inner border and binding yet...need to see it all together first!

Thanks for posting the help! Smitten
