Quilt Patterns from Seattle Empty
PostSubject: Quilt Patterns from Seattle   Quilt Patterns from Seattle EmptySun Mar 15, 2009 2:01 pm

This weekend (the one that's almost over now), Cindy Carter is posting her only mystery for 2009. The steps will remain posted until 1 Sept, 09.

It's called Happy String Flowers, and there are two sets of instructions: One for a baby-sized quilt - 43x50", and one for a larger quilt-62x74.

You can find clues for both sizes here:

http://carterquilter.wordpress.com/2009/03/12/happy-string-flowers-mystery-march-13-14-and-15/

Wander around through Cindy's blog/site and you'll find all kinds of freebies; her recent Purple Stars quilt is awfully nice!

I'm gathering the steps for both sizes, G. The design's whimsy appeals to me, but I'm also pretty aware of the list of things on my whiteboard that are carryovers from FEBRUARY. :hammer:

I'll have to see how it goes...

I like this pattern also. We have fleece blankets we use while watching tv. I think this would make a fabulous lap quilt to replace the fleece blankets. Thanks FB!
