| OK, this may be a stupid question to ask, but what do you do when one of the fabrics you are using for a pillowcase is narrower than the other two. The body and trim are 42 to 44 wide but the other part is only 40: wide. Should I just trim the excess off? Or sew more onto the sleeve? I have 3 cases cut right now and would like to proceed but am unsure how. Thanks for your help! | |

| Well, this happened to me while I was making a group of Christmas cases. I just decided to go ahead and make them up even though they were more narrow. The seemed to fit the pillows just fine, might be a bit more full looking. I think it is really up to you...maybe make one and fit a pillow in it to decide if you want the others to look the same or have a smidge more room. | |

| I trim mine too to be even with the narrowest fabric. I have never had a problem with them fitting the pillow. (But you probably already figured that out... :D ) | |

| Cant wait to see them Anita, what pattern are you using, where did you find it? There are so many variations it amazes me. Oh, like the others, I do the same, trimmed to fit hte narrowest fabric. Now I pretty much try and choose fabrics that are same size _________________ "My will is mine.....I shall not make it soft for you" Aeschylus, Agamemnon

| Originally the floral was going to be the outer border on the pink and green quilt. Decided to make pillowcases instead to use it up. I love that color green! | |

| Great pillow cases. I bought fabric a while ago to make pillowcases to match the quilt on my bed. Better get to that. | |

| My pattern for pillowcase is 12" for the top part.... 4" for the middle piece and 3/4 of yard for the body... works well... | |
