Ok, I have it all laid out, ready to sew blocks together. Still need to cut the two outer borders. I realize this picture isn't the best, but it will give you an idea.

I received my 'newsletter' from Quiltmaker the other day. They mentioned the "Jasmine Star" and was suggesting it as a summer project. I wrote the editor and send her a picture of the center medallion (my avatar). This was her response....

Hi Louanne,
Wow, you’re off to a great start! Thank you so much for sharing it with us. Please do send us a photo of the finished quilt—you have a good chance of seeing yourself in print!

Kind Regards,
Diane Harris

I have all of you to thank for the courage to send that picture... THANK YOU!!
I'm so excited....I am sewing the blocks together now. Hope to cut the final borders out tomorrow. Then comes the search for a 'great' LAQ. Very Happy

Thank you all so very much! I've gotten half of the blocks together and on the medallion. However, my back and my heart rate says I have to stop for today... big sigh Maybe I can finish tomorrow.

Wish it was just the excitement of quilting causing the problems. This afternoon when I finally made myself quit my heart rate was at 114. My back and knees get to a point of pain where I can barely walk. This is why I dropped out of the retreat. Not sure what is causing the heart rate problem, but will monitor and ck back in with dr if it doesn't get better. Ya'll have a good nite!

Hummer you take it easy. The quilt can wait, but you can't. Just rest and relax for a bit. Breath in and out........just relax.......
