http://www.webequilts.com/this is a great way to celebrate.. she is suggesting using the ole' USA colors red/white blue.. her yahoo group is also on this page if you would like to join and chat about the mystery.. look on her home page for the group site... but go to mysteries tab for her new mystery... I did her xmas one and it was awesome..

I'm going to try this one too. I've never done a mystery quilt, and think its about high time I did! I don't have enough fabric, so I'll just have to check out our QS on Tuesday when I go.

I did the New Years Mystery Quilt in Jan. Supposed to take one day, Jan 1st to do but took me month and a half. Did it in colours to match our main bedroom. Was very pleased with the result. Because have no pic of the quilt to start because is a mystery have to follow the directions carefully. jessie s

I'm going to try to do a burgundy colour instead of the red. I just finished a red, and white quilt so I've seen enough red for awhile. So hopefully, burgundy, tan and whatever I can find to go with it!!!! Oh, a real mystery before I even get going

Burgundy, tan and navy is one of my favorite color combos. Actually, looking around the public areas of my house - uh, I didn't realize it was so obvious! (Apparently Mr. W. likes that combo, too!)

eta: Hmmm.... forest green in place of navy would be pretty nice, too!

Number 3 is posted for those that are working on this mystery.. you can go to the yahoo site and see what they have done with their blocks so far.. it looks like a great pattern..
I can't start it I am many projects that have to get done for the fall classes.

Parts four and five are now posted. My two girlfriends are going to do it with me. See how we make out. I'll post pics when we are done. It won't be for awhile though!
