Merry Bee, here is the pattern you requested. It is a relatively straight forward paper piecing pattern. I simply added the narrow lines to the paper piecing. This is my own pattern. You are all welcome to use it. You can, of course, resize it to whatever suits you.

Thank you! I printed off two copies, is that right? I am going to make a sample block and see how it comes out. I just love it!

Marynel--looks like it would be very pretty. Do you have a picture of it somewhere?

This is Merry Bee's Star, which I posted under Birthday Block swap, and which she requested.
Sorry Merry Bee, each of these papers is only 1/8 of the star, a right and left half of each quarter star.
The parts labeled "W" are for the background.

Ah, I see that now. I hadn't had time to study it, and am still trying to get my bearings after the tooth episode. Tomorrow will be better. :-\ The dentiset seems very nice, and this one is actually as old as I am if not older. The last one was a real yuppie, about DS's age, and clueless about grumpy old ladies, and creaky jaws. Ha ha.
