Does everyone here know that the glue side of Heat and Bond does NOT got towards the ironing board cover?

I was taking a piece of fabric with a guitar on it and wanted to make sure the fusible was right under the guitar. I was ironing the right side of the fabric to fuse it rather than the paper side of the fusible. I was going to cut it out, fuse it onto a baby t-shirt and stitch around.

Doncha hate it when you do something like that?? I've never flat out fused it to my ironing board (knocking on wood!), but I've done what Golo said and fused to my iron. I say some harsh things about me to me, but that doesn't seem to have stopped me from doing it again.

Sometimes you can get it off if you put some aluminium foil over it and iron that . You have to keep moving the foil so a clean spot is over it . Sometimes it works other times it doesn't .

Not that I've ever done that....lol....but I used a dryer sheet and it came off. I had done an excellent job of making a mess of my iron, so as I recall that it took several dryer sheets.

I have a wood piece over my ironing board that is a rectangle, so no tapered end. Bet for ironing 45 inch fabric. Well that thing is warped, so wanted to make a new one, so I'll do that now.
