| I'm never that lucky. My daughter is though. She'll find a $200 winter coat with the tags still on for only $5. She's also found stuff she was looking for with a Free Sign in someone's driveway. The cart for her TV trays broke once and here there was one on the side of the road with 3 trays. Looked like someone didn't want it with just 3 trays. I inherited one of the trays and added batting and a cover. It's now my sewing side table and I press blocks, etc. while sewing. | |

| I can't speak to the hoarding nature that would make someone have 400 FQs, but one member of our guild had to stop quilting and move close to the hospital. Every member of the guild (about 60) got 5 coordinated high end FQs as a parting gift. Mine went into a blue ribbon quilt. Of course, I never hoard. I have a definite use for each and every part of my very large stash. | |
