| So cute for fall. Most of the really cute ones are either fall or Christmas. | |

| I tried using some craft felt on the back of some of those plastic coasters all stitched up and as the sweat ran down the glass the color of the felt came right through and ruined them all. I learned my lesson there real quick. I was wondering about a light weight fleece?? | |

| Ive made craft felt projects and made a little wool pattern in felt, I think for decorative stuff like this its fine, thats just my humble opinion. I like working with felt, doesnt make my hands itch like wool does, is soft to work with and has a lovely finish. Its way cheaper than wool (I have a little stash of wool I picked up when a store shut down but its not something Id normally buy) I have a felt cushion I made with a snowman, been sitting on the chair or couch for 4 1/2yrs now, hasnt worn or faded at all, apart from some added kitty fur its the same condition as the day I finished it. Id make this wallhanging in felt without a second thought
Oh and I too think it would be just as cute in fabics, you could use flannel if you wanted something more cool weather texture wise _________________ "My will is mine.....I shall not make it soft for you" Aeschylus, Agamemnon

| I would think it would be fine for something that wasn't going to be wet . I like the look of felt. You would have to put it on a heavy background fabric such as wool or felt though , wouldn't you ? I have only ever seen the felt in squares here not something large enough to use as a background fabric. Having just finished that wool quilt I know that felt would be easier to sew down than the wool . |

| HP you can buy felt off rolls and bolts in some quilt shops and in spotlight, some of it is quite thick and sturdy, different to those craft squares you see for sale normally I agree with it going onto something sturdy or even if you used stabaliser on the back of the backing fabric, if you used a fabric to attach the felt pieces taht is _________________ "My will is mine.....I shall not make it soft for you" Aeschylus, Agamemnon
