| Aw Jessie, I just love your attitude about things. Yup, we can do this! I agree, I'm all for Bob and Helen setting up a PayPal account so I can contribute my share to their hard work and this site. I hope you'll look into that. I've already deleted my link to QS. I'm quite comfy here. Although I have to say I'm so glad, Golo, that you did retrieve some swap info. Way to go! | |

| I hope someone can get all the good recipes off there too and transfer them over. I sure won't go back to QS, I like it better here, not as confusing and has a cleaner look. Norma | |

| Well I think most of us would be more than happy to repost recipes. If you let them know what it is you would like to have. I just had another thought, (that is dangerous for me) I did save the links and other things BUT if QS goes down permanently the links wont be available. So if you want links from there go and get them by adding them to your favorites. Then you can post whatever you would like to share here | |

| TLS, I put links on my Favourites as they were posted. Just the ones I was interested in. Later when I am not so busy can go and visit the sites and see what I want to keep. jessie s  | |

| I went over to the old site to see what's up. I see there's a new member! I bet they are going to wonder what the heck is going on? I couldn't resist posting a thread asking why the site keeps going down. I wanted Campbell to know how much the site meant to us! He's beyond mean! |

| Well, I had just started to be active on here again and was going through old posts and such to see what all my friends were up to. Figured I'd never get through the millions of posts, but was having fun anyways. Maybe it is for the better that I don't have that "project" hanging over my head. Now I can find some more projects!! jr  Hey, new smilies to boot! | |

| Norma - did you ever get an answer to your setting the correct time question? I can't figure out how to do it either.
Also, I'm wondering how I get the most recent post in each topic to be at the top instead of the bottom.

Also, I'm wondering how I get the most recent post in each topic to be at the top instead of the bottom. To set the time to your time zone...click on Profile>>Preferrences Scroll down to "Timezone" (its near the bottom) Choose the time zone that fits your time as it is right now...for instance...I am in Phoenix and the timezone that fit for me was the one that was GMT -7 hours. (If I had used +7 I would have been on the wrong day)...If you still can't make it out...just tell me where you are and I will tell you which one you should be! As for setting the forum so that the most recent posts are at the top...I don't think this forum has that setting. But to navigate it better you have a couple of options: After entering the forum and you are on the Home page, click "View Posts Since Last Visit" on the top right of the screen then: 1. On the right side you will see the name of the last person to post on the thread. Next to that is a tiny "page" icon. If you click that, it will take you to the last post in the thread OR 2. Under the thread title will be page numbers so that you can go to the page you wish...the higher the number the more recent the posts. Hope that helps some! :D

| I miss the "Show Replies to My Posts" option. That made it easy to keep up with a current 'conversation' first, before wading through new posts in other topics. <sigh>
Of course it's not the end of the world. And I suppose I will adapt.

I think you can use "watch this topic for replies" This link is down by the reply box. In the upper left corner of the reply area.

| Hah. It's "View Your Posts" in the "Actions!" clicker-oonie at the top of the page.
Funny, the search i.d. is "egosearch" (how dare they? ;) ). I think that I've also found that it searches from where you are, so if you're in Chatterbox, it will only search in Chatterbox. IOW, click on "The Quilter's Last Resort" before "General Category" or whatever to get the full-forum search. _________________ Perfection is the enemy of progress

If you tried to post a picture to your post here and you used the "Host image" icon you might have needed to set up an account to get the image to post. This email is from that Imaging Host. I signed up for that but I didn't like it much...too many ads etc...so I deleted my account there. I guess I better figure out how to post pictures in posts on here so that members don't NEED that site unless they really like it!
