| I just stumbled accross another site that is interesting and thought I would post it here so who ever wants..can take a look see I was looking for some 'truck' fabric for backing on my GS quilt and found this site. The fabric I wanted was normally 8.50-9.80 yd and here I found it for 4.99 !!! so I started looking around. I think that they have some nice stuff and some second rate stuff here, but the prices are very good and most would make great backings or kid quilts. http://www.bearpawquilting.com/ | |

| Nice site mamu....really wide range of nautical/fishing stuff too. I think I'll put a pot of coffee on and browse awhile. I don't remember who posted the link to Nixie Chicks but I just got another order from them on Friday...you can't beat their price on 108" wide blenders $7.99. It feels better than some of the widebacks at some local fabric chain stores near me. http://nixiechicks.com/ | |

Here's a store where you can buy just 1/4 yard of most of their fabrics. Sometimes that's all you need! They have a lot of novelty prints too. www.FavoriteFabric.com

This is off topic, I know, but... having never been to the mountains out west... what color are they? Or do they change with the weather?

| Golo, I've known about Favorite Fabrics for several years now. What I like about their site is that they show what fabrics coordinate with each other. Their customer service people are very helpful too. Calico_Chris, Yes, the squirrels and racoons are cute! I get a kick out of the skunk fabric, too. Maybe because I have a backyard skunk this year. (My cats are keeping their distance, so it's okay.) | |

| Oh nancy....my cat had a run in with a skunk last summer.....not fun!! DD and her husband have a special little thing between them about squirrels since they were dating in high school...I have since taken to buying them squirrel figurines and such. | |

| by the way... skunks can and will kill cats !!! most cats have a six sense about that and will keep away from them.....
NYN.... the mountains here are covered with pine trees, with some aspen, wild apple...and yes every fall we have a wonderful show of color....probably not as striking as what you have around your area, but still very showy.... you can go into my gallery and see some pics I have of the scenery around here
